The final falls of Glen Leigh — Wyandot, Erie, and Tuscarora — a last, serious safety word (a fatal fall happened at Tuscarora), the return to Waters Meet, and the farewell with a request for a review.
Here come the last waterfalls of the loop, the bottom of Glen Leigh — Wyandot, Erie, and Tuscarora — a beautiful final trio before the two canyons rejoin. And I'll be honest and gentle with you one more time, because it matters: it was right here, at Tuscarora Falls, that a hiker died in a fall not long ago. Even this close to the end, even when you're tired and the hard climbing is behind you, the rule holds — maybe especially now, because tired is when people get careless. Stay on the trail. Keep back from the wet edges. Watch every step down to the bottom.
And there — just below — is Waters Meet again, where you started the loop this morning. You did it. You climbed one whole waterfall canyon and came down another, twenty-one waterfalls, nearly a thousand feet, on Pennsylvania's most difficult trail — and you did it right, on your feet and on the trail. Be proud of that.
From Waters Meet, we simply follow Kitchen Creek back down the way we first came in — past Harrison Wright and the lower falls once more — to the trailhead where we started. Take that last stretch easy on your knees.
