Beaver Meadows Entrance

The story

The entrance station checks passes and timed entry and takes cards only. Bear Lake Road leaves just past it, a nine-mile dead end with its own rules, and this tour stays straight on Highway 36. Both ends of the drive sit outside a fee station, so this is where the east side of the park begins.

Get your card out, because the entrance station's just ahead and it doesn't take cash. This is where passes and any timed entry get checked. About a quarter mile past the booths, Bear Lake Road leaves on your left. Stay straight on Highway thirty-six. Bear Lake Road is a nine-mile dead end with its own rules.
