The loop closes at Madison Junction, 94 miles after it left. West Yellowstone is 14 miles west on the entrance road, and the road straight ahead returns to Old Faithful. The tour's last words play just before the junction, with Terrace Spring already behind the car.
Madison Junction is just ahead. Turn right there for West Yellowstone, fourteen miles. The other way is the Old Faithful road you've already driven, so that junction closes the loop. That's the Lower Loop, and most of it ran inside a volcano. Thank you for riding with Boone and me, for keeping your distance from the bison, and for staying on the boards.
