The story
The descent into the palm grove — where the desert trail drops into the shade of the first towering fan palms and the sound of Palm Canyon Creek.
Coming back up out of the deep shade now, and the palms begin to thin around you — you're climbing up out of the heart of the oasis toward the open desert light again. Take one last look back down the canyon at that green world you just walked through; from here it's blue sky and the Trading Post waiting up top. Keep your water close for this last pull — you're nearly there.
