The North Entrance is a small fee booth where Utah Trail becomes Park Boulevard, and it takes cards only. Just north of it, Sky's the Limit offers an observatory, a nature trail and a vault toilet, under the dark skies that earned the park its Silver Tier rating.
The next right is the Sky's the Limit observatory and nature trail, with a vault toilet, the first restroom on this end. The booth you just passed was the North Entrance, and you've left the park. For decades there was no booth here at all. A work order first asked for entrance stations in nineteen seventy-six, and the first one here went up around nineteen seventy-nine. Floods here may ease within hours, so waiting works. If you can come back after dark, Sky's the Limit is a nonprofit park partner with a fourteen inch telescope, and a model of the solar system laid out in circles of stones around the parking loop. The whole park is an International Dark Sky Park, at the Silver Tier. You've spent the day looking at very old rock. Those stones are for looking at something older.
