Two rounded glacier-carved domes standing over the north end of Jordan Pond.
Those two smooth domes on your left are the North and South Bubble, among the park's most photographed things. The ice slid up the long side of each dome, smoothing it as it went, and carried on over the top. The valley you're driving through is the same ice at work. Look at its profile ahead of you, a broad U rather than the sharp V a river would cut. Up on the left, near the top of the south dome, watch the skyline. There's something up there that doesn't belong. There's a pull-out on your left in about half a mile. Slow down early, watch for oncoming traffic, and you can get a proper look.
