The Last Falls — B. Reynolds & Wyandot

The story

The final falls of Glen Leigh — Wyandot, Erie, and Tuscarora — a last, serious safety word (a fatal fall happened at Tuscarora), the return to Waters Meet, and the farewell with a request for a review.

Here come the last waterfalls of the loop, at the bottom of Glen Leigh. Just ahead is B. Reynolds, forty feet of free-falling veil, and right below it little Wyandot, fifteen feet, the last fall this canyon has. And I'll be honest and gentle with you one more time, because it matters: tired is when people get careless. You're close to the bottom and the hard part feels finished, but these last steps are just as wet as the first ones. Stay on the trail. Keep back from the edges. Watch every step.

And just below you is Waters Meet again, where you started the loop this morning. You did it. You climbed one whole waterfall canyon and came down another, nearly a thousand feet, on Pennsylvania's most difficult trail, and you did it right, on your feet and on the trail. Be proud of that. Stay with me, though. There's still a walk out ahead, and Boone and I aren't quite done with you.
